Maybe; here is my thoughts about the HIT in an order;
1. Oh, a nice HIT, it is fun, and yes, it has a nice pay
2. Oh, it seems, some guys are abusing the HIT, but anyway, I am still having fun and more importantly getting paid
3. Oh, a weirdo, who does not know anything about the HIT
4. OK, okay, pay MA 1.50 anyway, so I do not have to deal with this shit of 20 questions

 

Finished the $50 hit! How should I go about reviewing it though? I took about 8 hours, but obviously a ton of breaks. Should I change it to 5 hours as to not kill his pay and just write up my thoughts about it?

 

If you think a sane person could sit for 5 hours straight and complete the HIT do it without breaks, if its mind numbing shit that you need to take a break for I would include the break time in the review.

I think 5 hours is easy. Would only take 2-3 hours realistically if you were working through. I did laundry, watched movies, and made food too.

Yeah, those questions get used in her $.02 HITs. The questions get converted into statements -- for example, if the subject is "nameplate", and the person asks, "Is it physical?", you would have to write, "Nameplates are physical."

I disagree. The time "on the task" should be what is quoted. You certainly shouldn't label 8 hours and make the hourly shit when the task isn't shit, no?

I would definitely include that experience. Because if [redacted] dropped at 2$ each, you would stop the task and go work on those. You wouldn't count that time you chose to stop working on the 50$ hit as part of the hit time?

 

Yeah I did Alexandria hits while the timer was counting for the $50 hits. Would it be fair if I change the time to 4 to 5 hours for a more accurate reflection or do you think I should leave my 8 hours and just write a note about my breaks?

I think you should label it with as long as the task took after taking out all the breaks.

so X seconds per question at 900 questions = Time

in a review, explain that it's probably not going to be likely for you to do it straight through and explain how longer breaks (along with the longer timer) are needed and provided.

If you didn't think it was worth it, mark fair and note that the task was soul wrenching or whatever.
