Oh, taking time to think it over isn't always an option. Real Estate goes fast here, especially things with more than an acre that aren't like 500k. There's more demand than homes and so the prices are jacked up from even 5 years ago.

We looked at a home yesterday...and it was bought while we were looking at it by someone else.

The agent was like, "NEVERMIND BYEEEE!"

We are gonna have to go with slight fixer upper on big property or house so expensive I wanna vomit on my shoes even thinking of the power bill every month.

Ahh gotcha, I thought you meant like there were ones you were considering currently on the back burner that were options. The first house I felt serious about I made the mistake of thinking I had the weekend to think it over....LOL nope. Everything around me usually is under contract the same day it's listed, if it's not it's either horrendously priced with an unreasonable seller not willing to budge, or the seller is giving it a day or two to get bid wars. Prices have gone up 38% in the past year in my area. And I'm in freaking Cleveland, OH. I can't imagine what it's like in bigger and more popular metro areas.
