02/13 - Money Monday!

I was the only girl in my electronics shop class, the guidance counselor called me dad to try and stop me and have me take another home ec class instead, the teacher went to the school board cause he liked me and by the next week I had a different guidance counselor.

Grinch! I can already bake an excellent cake! I wanted to be able to fix my own house in the future, why that was so shocking is beyond me.

 

Well working on control circuits all the way up to 480V, I learned early on not to even buy watches, rings, etc.

It's amazing the looks I get when I go to the hardware store to get things and they ask if it is for a project on my husband's 'honey do' list. Um, no. I like using power tools too, and I can wield a nail gun with the best of 'em.
