I don't know how you guys can do audiobooks. They almost instantly make me sleepy. I def can't do it in the car if I want it to stay in one piece. I'll take a regular old book to read any day.

Sometimes the system can be ridiculous. It took us a few calls and messing with the app before it finally started to work. Now we double dip between downloading books from various places. Our audiobook collection rivals our movie collection on our home server.

 

PFAs are loading so so so slow.

 

Hahhaha there you go, also keep a lokout online for existing members promos, they are rare, but I got one last year that my membership dropped to about 3 bucks a month for the platinum for three months which i great.

 

I listen to them to keep my mind occupied while I'm doing something mundane or lifting weights or cardio. The narrator can make or break a book for sure though.

 

I did, at one point, get Audible to only charge me $10 a year (instead of monthly)....but the downside is getting no credits (you still get the member discounts tho)

I actually don't do audio books as much as my husband. I will take my paper copy, thanks.

It's worth it, especially with the smaller books that you don't want to buy.

 

I listen to them while I am doing house work, or any projects that I am to busy to watch a movie while I am at them. I started when I was managing a restaurant back in 2011 and when I had to do the weekly inventory, it was a perfect way to pass the time.

Now I do some at night While trying to go to bed as the app offers a sleep timer, and when turking is so busy that there is no space on my monitor to stream anything, or i feel that the streaming is taking way too much bad width.
