90% of the issues that comcast has (in most areas) are fixable. A lot of them are from the garbage modems that people rent from them instead of using their own and others are from poor signal on the modem because of coax splitters ect.

Now they are still a shitty company but I get the service that I pay for.

I have never had any issues with them as far as service goes and they have been excellent with no outage of more than a couple hours in 4 years. My issues however are with their pricing but even that I deal with because without internet I don't work so it is a necessary cost.
