Honestly driving in the city is just stupid....I can walk across the city before you cross Market Street.

 

if you know exactly where you're going, and know the parking situation, it's one thing. but yeah, public transit is the way to go

I'd have to add 5 to 10 g's per house remodel contract just for street issues and permits parking etc etc It's insane and people just keep driving. BART in is golden and Muni is on EVERY street.

 

Best Chinese food I had was in San Fran while on a business trip.
We had the waiter take a group photo. As he was getting ready, I said "Hey, there's a lobster on the ground!"
It was trying to escape.
He calmly put his foot on it to secure it.
Took our picture.
Picked up the lobster and went in back.

 

It is wicked easy if you just pay for a garage/lot but trying to get a street spot you won't be auto towed from would drive you nuts.

 

yeah, even the parking garages in SF are sketchy. a lot of them them make you park at an angle, and you're supposed to back into the spot. but a lot of people choose to make like 270 degree, 13 point turns to park forward into the spot

 

If either of you fine gentlemen could point tourists to the explanation of why the SAN FRANCISCO 49ers aren't even remotely close to being in San Francisco that'd have been a huge help to me years ago.
