I was in like the fifth/sixth grade or so when I found out things were hinky with them (she and my sister were in high school, it was a whole thing) and they got married like ...I forget how many years later? I was 15 tho. He waited for her to mostly finish college first. She lived with us the whole time after she graduted hs. She was usually only at college a few days a week and then just shacked up in our house.

It was super creepy. I was still the best girl (as my sister wasn't having it) and kept hold of the wedding rings (cause, somehow my 15 year old ass was the responsible one of the equation). After years of holding it together, I had a FULL MELTDOWN cause I realized this was my damn life.

Yeah, so...Birb comes from a real white trash family. This is part of why matt's mom does not approve. She wanted him to settle down with a girl from a nice breeding stock folks and instead he picked the low class yankee Grinch with the Jerry Springer level family. I left for college and never really went back for a reason. I gtfo-ed that situation real quick for obvs reasons.

My aunt has a toy poodle one for her dog. Has a little picture of him as a puppy and everything. I miss that shitbeast. He was an awful dog, but also adorable.

 

I mean, I'm pretty no contact with them cause they are garbage people- I just don't hate her.

She's a product of her situation...which is my dad molding her into a shitty adult. And my dad is a super shitty person, so I can't really blame her for how she is. She didn't really know better.

Absolutely.

Hell, I really sucked with money and credit for the majority of my life because I never learned about it in school and my parents never taught me anything about budgeting, savings, or the impact credit has on loans and interest rates, anything really.

My S.O. on the other hand is amazing with that stuff because her parents taught her about it at an early age and opened up a joint credit card for her so she has crazy good credit and budgets like a badass.
