    The dealership guy looked at Matt like he was out of his mind.

    And, of course, Matts being Matts, he wanted to know if he could literally just give him straight up cash...and then I smacked his leg and he went, "CHECK. I MEANT, WOULD A CERTIFIED CHECK BE FINE?"

    Another great conversation was the mortgage guy asking Matt exactly how many bank accounts he had and why.

    Matt: Why not? I like all my bank accounts.

    Mortgage guy: ...ok then

    We actually had some fun car shopping cause I was the one asking about maintenance and such which completely threw them off and Matt let me test drive all the sports cars :emoji_grin: after the sales guys offered them. Totally freaked out a couple of salesmen when I checked the 0-60 mph time :emoji_laughing:

    You're in a strange part of CA. Most places in more populated CA, Matt looking like Matt wouldn't come with any expectations or assumptions. The guy wearing a beat up t-shirt with 15 year old shoes and holes in his jeans is just as likely a Malibu or Silicon Valley millionaire as anyone else. On the East Coast, that'd make more sense. In CA, that's just odd.
