Fast forward a few years, I'm the jerk asking the officials at the mortgage refinancing bank "what does this sentence mean?". Reply, oh, that's just boilerplate, standard stuff, you don't need to worry. Me: "well, I do appreciate that, but, umm, if it's standard, what does it mean?".

Blank stare/embarrassment as they realize that nobody in the office actually can explain this particular "standard" clause in their contract. Which quickly shifts to annoyance as they further realize that ash hole foreigner isn't going to sign a contract worth a few hundred thousand dollars until someone can explain that clause so he knows what he's signing.

My wife really hates when I do that.

I took both my puppies to training classes at Petco and I was happy with it. It helped socialize them and gave me things to work on with them. Having a class to go to forced me to do what they had told me to do and they learnt a lot. My puppies are both very well behaved and know all the basic commands.

 

I mean, his dad is already upset with how short I am. I think you would send them into a full on panic spiral about the possibility of short children.
