The original mortgage, we got to settlement and I did my read-the-whole-thing again, and found a couple of typos. One of those typos indicated I was a U.S. citizen, which I wasn't. I pointed this out and the independent whatever-her-title-was went white. Apparently it is considered tactless to fib about your citizenship status (intentionally or not) when signing documents that involve shifting large amounts of money around and tends to unnecessarily excite law enforcement.

I just grabbed the hit. It isn't biometric fingerprints. It is browser / hardware ID.

I wouldn't be worried too much about that. (You can even do the hit on a desktop with a mouse)
