The thing you need to understand is that.. they don't have standards.

Their standard is whatever the lowest amount of effort/cost to their business they can get by with to submit to random clerks in county tax assessor offices across the US so they can get paid $35 for what you get paid $2 for.

If they could, they'd submit a piece of paper with a shit smear on it if it made their business money. So think of what some min-wage county clerk office temp is likely going to consider as close enough "proof" so he can forward the list to his/her boss, who is then going to send out $900 "pay your fucking taxes" bills to the home/condo owner.

You're not working for you, hell you're hardly even working for VRAPI, you're working for some tax office in FL / CO / CA at any given moment who just want to get paid and not get yelled at for sending a nastygram to the wrong address.

Also the only proof that matters is that in many, many listings the listing just straight up says the condo # so you can fill that in & collect your free $2.

 

Something is going on that I do not know off.

 

What I did was get a pdf file of my bank statement online and just uploaded that. Most banks now let you get copies of your bank statements online.

I'm thinking I'm just not putting enough effort into it. Some days I feel like I fight to get that $10 though. Maybe because it's mturk money isn't needed to pay any of my monthly bills that I'm just pushing it off. I filter HITs and use HIT Finder and do (almost) anything I qual for. I may need to spend more time doing it, but also am working my regular job 8-5 Mon-Fri. I'll try bumping my goal up $5 a day and see how it goes. I feel like stressing over mturk will just make it worse but definitely think I could be achieving a higher goal.

Good idea. I just did that and took a photo of it and uploaded but it doesn't show anything different on the account management page. It still just says unverified. there is no pending or anything to let me know they received it successfully
