You're thinking of buying a high end laptop when your budget's already under strain, selling your desktop won't net you enough profit to make that a reasonable purchase decision.

 

It is more that you keep digging yourself into a hole man. Do you need a laptop for school or do you somehow think that you would make a profit on selling your desktop? For school a cheap chromebook would be enough.
