    I wouldn't do caffeine and nicotine at once. Quitting soda was tougher for me than quitting smoking.

    yet another requester who's dropped the pay and increased the work.

    last time these were $0.75 each, and the subject was the same for all 20 so it could be sped up with copy and past of the noun. Now it's 20 DIFFERENT subjects in each hit. Hard pass

    As for nicotine, I vaguely remember nicotine being bad for cardiovascular health after removing the effects of the smoking part, though it did increase memory.

    Lol I switched to e-cigarettes when I was around 27, because I switch to a hospital job in the Navy and I kept getting in trouble for smoking.

    Quitting that though is even better, I hated being so beholden to a drug. Kicking nicotine was too hard for me until Chantix honestly

    Last I'd seen there hadn't been much research on the health affects of nicotine itself (other than its addictive nature) because until somewhat recently it was always associated with so many other bad things. I think there's some evidence that it may have some positive affects on its own but I think all the research is still at the "we need to do more studies to be sure" stage.

    Yeah, but I think it's natural for companies to think "Oh, we got results quicker than expected. Let's drop pay on the next batch and see if we still get good results." and then someone in the company also decides to make modifications to the process.

    Sorry, wasn't debating the benefits of caffeine (I'm all-pro caffeine lmao) but I just recall a guy I worked with / acquaintance / "friend" who took nicotine like you'd take any other mental stimulant, lol.

    There does appear to be some evidence that it improves mental functioning and fine motor skills. Seems to increase the chance of getting a tumor and bacterial infections though.

    From the mouse models of nicotine administration, it looks like it's still a net negative. Can't find the cardiovascular study I was thinking of but it does appear to increase certain cancers alone. It does help one lose weight, though, which could be a positive depending on the starting weight.
