my 2010 macbook pro just shit the bed two weekends ago.. it makes sounds like it's booting up but the screen stays black. taking it to a genius bar later this month to see if they can figure out whats wrong with it, i don't live near an apple store so am going while i'm already on a weekend trip. i needed a computer in the meantime so i bought a refurbished 2017 macbook air
