    All I know is this $1200 apartment in Montana would be 3K in Orange county so I'm not complaining

    i couldn't imagine buying a house here now, my dad sorta wouldn't let me move back home after i came back to the area because he wanted me to buy before it got too crazy.

    Looking back on it I wouldn't have changed a thing and still gave it to her.... I just didn't foresee getting injured and not being able to keep working to get myself a new home. I am happy with how I live now and am in better places mentally than I have been in years.

    yeah, to be fair though, i'm on a 15 year mortgage that i'm like 18 months away from being done with. if i was going to try and buy now, a 30 year would have me at around the same monthly payment

    ehhh can't get mad it was my steady regular and looking at it on MTS it could go either way so I'll accept it...... like 300k hits for them and 2 rejections out of it is fine

    i checked zillow for the hell of it. there are 2 entire studio apartments available in that price range over here. 2 different rooms available in houses or townhomes and an apartment available to san jose state students.
