    For the most part, the dogs have only ever gotten light slaps from the cats, but we've had a couple incidents over the years where I had to drag them apart. I've also had to drag the dogs apart I'd say twice in 4 years and the cats got into a couple catfights over the last 3. It's not a regular occurence, but even well behaved/mannered pets can get overly snappy on occasion, especially when you have multiples in one space. Bearnie will sleep with the dogs and they get along well 99% percent of the time, but that 1% where someone gets really pissed...hoo boy! thats a doozy!
