Eh I guess but if they want to be doing actual gaming on PC most likely they will get steam. And it isn't like they would be using a gamepad for overwatch anyways unless they want to be the worst person on their team.

You can use a gamepad on overwatch.. if you want to be bad. Seriously you will do very poorly if you try and use a gamepad for a PC shooter.

 

This felt like an hour of mandatory sensitivity training hosted by an HR department in the 1990s. Easy enough to multitask through, though.

 

never had a problem w/ any rejects from them, but then again they usually take like 10-15 just to load.....

Getting really fucking tired of staffing agencies ghosting me

 

Once in awhile it's fun to be the derpy derper though. Nerd Rage is so satisfying really warms my heart.

 

Sounds like you take video games too seriously (Have you tried a steam controller, it really helps for big screen couch gaming. I like it a lot)

 

Hey all. We're going to be running an Academy Awards picks swarm tomorrow afternoon. Tentatively, the swarm itself is scheduled at 3pm.

We'll be putting the HIT up for that later today, though, on a 24 hour timer. The HIT probably won't go up until sometime between 3pm and 6pm, because we're really busy (mostly because you guys have been so awesome with your responses and predictions over the last month that it's given us a ton of cool response data to look at).

It'll be a long-ish swarm too. We've got a decent number of Oscars categories to cover.

We'll be paying at least three bonuses on this, and making them generous.

FINALLY....part of the reason we're putting the HIT up today is that we'd like you to at least spend a couple of minutes looking around the internet to sort of get an idea for how things are going to shake out in the Oscars ceremony on Sunday night. This kind of thing really does help with increasing your chance of picking up a bonus. For instance, on the Grammy Award hit we did two weeks ago, we paid like 8 or 9 people bonuses (they tied with the best picks). Four of those winners used the same online source to inform their picks, three of the other winners used a same, different source. Those folks got an average of 5 out of 7 correct. Of the 7 people who said they either didn't use a source or said something similar, they scored just over 1 out of 7 answers correct.

At any rate, tomorrow's a busy UNU day. Doing an NHL HIT as well! Hope to see you folks then!

 

The goal of team games is to win though? Even more so in competitive mode.. although the people using gamepads likely wouldn't be matched up with me for those because they likely have a much lower rating.

Using a steam controller would be marginally better but you would still lose every time to an equally skilled player that uses a keyboard/mouse.

I hope that you do that in quick play or with a full team of friends then.
