third time's a charm?

 

Is it any good? I don't know what it tastes like but $5 for a large pizza is practically free! I'd have to go secretly though cuz la famiglia would excommunicate me.

 

He's back on and more enthusiastic than me. He was just having a meltdown over interest rates and cost of living, the mortgage guy was being a pain and only wanted to talk thru email and matt was getting annoyed, blah blah blah.

I actually got the interest knocked down another little bit ( I threatened to go to another company that would give us a better rate), and pretty much told the seller he needs to pay part of closing because of x,y, and z with the house. He agreed. I showed Matt the math on what 15 years of rent would be vs. 15 years of a mortgage and he calmed down. But then everything that needed to get done 2 days ago wasn't done yet. He picked a shitty time to freak out basically....midway thru escrow.

And then we find out there is a septic issue. Not with the tank at least, but it might turn into a huge cluster too. Yay. Buying a house is so fun.

Buy a house they said. It's so fun they said!

 

Don't have one near me any more but I remeber it being good when I was in my 20's. but I mean we ate it atleast once a week often 2 or 3 times really once I was out of college I never had another slice. We were traveling awhile ago and drove by one Dave and I both said "OH look a Little Ceasers but had no desire to actually eat it

 

It tastes like cardboard and month old cheese.

 

Meanwhile, I got myself on of them fancy hillshire farms snacking plates to go with my wine.

 

so my memories of it being good was just nestalga and poverty?

 

That's probably like how I remember it being fun and "like camping," when the power went out a lot as a kid.

I think my brain just warped those memories so I wouldn't turn into a totally sad adult.

Our brains are just looking out for us!

 

I have those "fun" childhood memories too, brains are odd creatures

 

Eh I would say its more you were 20. I could eat actual cardboard back then, as long as it had a shit ton of hot sauce on it. Or I had been drinking. Now though, not so much.
