07/19 - Threatening Thursday!

I hate to point this out, but I don't know how many workers have access to a WABAC machine to take the qualifying survey after the survey that requires the qualification.

 

It's not bad when there is consistent work available but it can be dead for weeks at a time sometimes. It can also be very strict with their guidelines/spam/speed checks, so it has its ups and downs. It's like mTurk batch work and depending on the HitApps available, it can be very well paid and you can average anywhere from $8-30/hr. Some days I'll completely ignore mTurk because there will be batches up where I'm able to make $50-$100 in one sitting.

 

They already have all of their qualed workers with ~120 of them total.

 

Its been dead for me. I seem to be to slow on the jump to grab some hits posted. Summer lull.

You are trying to turk outside of prime time during summer. Today was fine though

 

Wow, caught the $16.00 SurveyComet. Highest paying survey I ever did out of over 100k HiTs I have done, and wasnt bad at all and said it has weekly follow-up's for 2 months. And I caught 4 of them and had to return 3. What is up with that man.

Doh i didnt even think of the time of the day. I may have to change my schedule some.

 

While mturk is mturk and we could have a $100/hr batch randomly drop.... the bulk of the work is 5AM PT --> 3PM PT imo

 

survey comet hates me...I hardly ever qualify for their hits.

 

I have been getting on from about 5am to 8am sadly est lol. I will have to do something else while i drink coffee and get in at better times.

How did you catch a nice one like that? I am a newer MTurk and looking to learn. I always miss the nice ones.

@dkod Exactly what he said. I just got lucky, I never catch them to be honest. No problem catching others but there seems to be a lot of competition on those.
