They didn't even give us notice. They slapped a note on the door as they were starting work.

Which is really not legal. We're supposed to get at least 24 hours.

Between the bug situation, the insane neighbors, the building being sold, the constant construction/work without notice lately, the new building owner wanting to go no-pet (lmao, good luck with that and longstanding residents), and the heat wave- I am so ready to be out of this place.

We were gonna try and have a fence put up before we move into the cabin (knock on wood that the rest of escrow goes more smoothly lol) but it looks like we will just move in as soon as we close and leave the apartment early. I'll deal with having to take the dogs out myself for a month or so and not have to be in this nightmare any longer.
