I heart counter space. super tiny apartment. plus then you don't get microwaves in the air or on you or whatever.

 

Understandable, I think mine have always been attached to the wall for as long as I can remember; and I smoke so I think that'll get me before the waves would lol. My microwave always fucks with my wifi signal though, so at least you don't have to deal with that either.

 

Microwaves are non-ionizing radiation so it doesn't matter. I can understand the counter space if your kitchen is tiny however.
