    There are probably a lot of reasons that could happen but with any sudden unusual behavior like that you should definitely keep an eye on them and consider calling the vet. Better safe than sorry. Here's a link about drooling in cats you might want to look at.

    Sorry I'm being dumb. Any sign of infection in the mouth or tooth or anything? Swelling? Perhaps pain in the mouth area? Not sure. Hopefully it's nothing.
