i feel like the core of TH has a much better work ethic than other forums

What should I do if a requester denies my HIT? So far, I have 6 rejections and a 98% approval rate. 2 of them were understandably my fault, 1 was kind of questionable because it was more opinion based, but I felt at least 3 of them were wrongly rejected.

1. "work time too short for accuracy"
2. "random / suspicious responding"
3. "The counters on our survey platform indicate that you spent a very small amount of time (below 3 seconds) reading our survey instructions..."

I've tried messaging the first two, the 1st one 15 days ago, and the 2nd one about a week, but I haven't bothered messaging the 3rd one because none of them have responded. These were all surveys, and I remember what they were about and what the task was. I'm unsure if the 3rd is worth trying to have overturned since at least they were more specific on exactly why I was rejected. I do remember double clicking the study information page and accidentally skipping the instruction page, but the directions were repeated again or I would have just returned it. It also had reading and attention questions that I knew, but would simply messaging them what the instructions were be enough?

 

That's even more ez mode.

I think there's one that sells t-shirts.

 

If you aren't scamming or doing hits for brand new requesters like I do you can avoid most of those rejects by sticking to well reviewed requesters.

Also go get some buffer from number hits so that you can stay above 99%.

The core of TH has access to much better tooling than people who have managed to go to forums that haven't added a single feature in years of existence.

Sad fact of the matter is if you're joining an mTurk forum at this point and stumble yourself elsewhere then you are unlikely to find TV. If you don't go to TV & get TVJS you don't have great access to TV's data which is.. absurdly valuable.

There's just gonna be a huge gap there if you're not on TH or at least utilizing the resources it provides. Most of the other forums push TO. TO is... TO.
