Thanks. Not to sound really morbid, but I’m happy he’s not dead cause tbh, when I got that text that just said “ hospital,” and then a call...I did not think it was gonna be a great call. And then I heard the phrase “ broke his back,” and had about 3 more heart attacks, give or take.

The fact he got to...(temporarily) roll away from this with the ability to still walk again with a functioning brain- total relief. There’s almost no scarier feeling then your partner not coming home when they say they will and then not answering the phone for, ya know, like 7 hours. I was completely spinning out as @Buntastic got to see this morning.
