02/22 - Working Out Wednesday!

I don't keep media on my computer mostly stream. But with that said I'm seeing some decently priced desktops with 8gb of ram and between 500 gb and 1tb of hard drive

 

That reminds me, I gotta get a 2TB for my PS4 soon, this deleting and reinstalling is getting old quick.

 

With the release of the switch being here soon I really hope that I'll be able to just hook up an external HDD without any issues.. The internal storage on that thing is a joke.

 

My media storage is pretty low. My laptop currently has a 250gb SSD (150gb free) and a 1tb (680gb free). Any large media (completely legally obtained videos) are kicking around on some old usb drives hooked up to my pi...but most music and video is streaming for me these days.


afterthought: The above being said...if I had a desktop, I would probably keep way more storage on hand because $/gb is supercheap.

 

I noticed in the latest GI, but isn't it cart based? I guess for Virtual Classics (or whatever it's called), that could be helpful.

 

I have a feeling there are some monster days out there today. Unfortunately, after I caught that $45, I went into "I'm kind of a big deal" mode and slacked off.

Boy have things changed, haven't bought a desktop computer since my first computer many, many moons ago. Not to date myself but we had a book with our computer (looked like a phonebook) for looking up web address and my husband was trying to explain this to me and I'm looking at him like he has 6 heads

 

All the games can be downloaded as well... and as someone with a fast internet connection downloading with be far better imho.
