astros will still win the division. just going to be closer than expected with the injuries

not having last year’s mvp and the world series mvp hasn’t helped lately

if you've ever seen the stadium in person, you'd be surprised 17000 people would ever show up there

with the Raiders moving... are they ever going to do anything with the A’s? in terms of a new stadium? I guess maybe the Raiders couldn’t come up with an agreement before doing the move to Vegas? I don’t know all the specifics in how that all went down. so just speculating

the A’s are playing good ball. astros just have been bit by the injury bug bad lately. pitching has been okay (for the most part), but the bats are asleep. 1/3rd of the Astros lineup at the moment are minor league players. Big next couple of series between the A’s and Astros coming up in the next couple of weeks

baseball can be streaky though. I just think once Springer comes back (which might be against the A’s on Friday) and eventually Altuve (hopefully in the next few weeks)... things will start to gel again

the city couldn't support a new NFL stadium. the actual fans wouldn't be able to afford tickets. the a's keep getting promised things, including a stadium, but who knows. they were going to move to san jose, but they have a deal with the giants (from when the giants were getting ready to move to tampa) preventing it. It doesn't help that the stadium is in a sketchy area.

i know that they’ve tried to revamp the stadium a little bit with that party section. i forget what it’s called. the Raiders in Vegas just doesn’t sound right though

the only MLB parks i’ve been to are Minute Maid in houston and AT&T park in san fran

    both beautiful stadiums.

i wasn’t prepared for the cold at AT&T though

they city does stupid things, like spend 3 million $ in renovations. what is that on a baseball stadium, a paint job. Mark Davis doesn't care where his millions of dollars come from, as long as they come

Parks I've been to in order from best to worst.
    1. Fenway
    2. AT&T Park
    3. Miller Park
    4. Safeco Field
    5. Rangers Ballpark at Arlington
I don't know what one will be next. I think probably back to Fenway for my little guy's first game. For sure will visit Wrigley since my wife has family there and Minute Maid since I have family nearby but I've heard PNC is an awesome place for a game.
This was not a problem for my Nordic Montanan upbringing

greed everywhere. i feel for the raiders loyal fanbase though. the black hole.

i think a lot of cities do stupid things. just not oakland. take the Astrodome for example. wasting tax dollars year after year by having it cleaned, etc instead of just tearing it down (which it will never be torn down now)

Fenway is on the bucket list! that’d be a nice first game for your son. And Minute Maid is a nice watch for baseball. I can’t compare it to any other stadium besides AT&T Park, but there’s literally not a really bad seat in the stadium

It’ll be interesting to see how the new stadium in Arlington looks and feels like when it comes up in a couple years. Finally a roof for those fans who brave the 100+ temps to watch the Rangers play in the Summer

what did you like about Miller over Safeco?

Really with those two it's so close to a tie but getting to go to a Brewer's game with my Grandpa who is from Milwaukee was a lot of fun and I was there just after it opened and got to see the roof open and close which was just cool. Safeco is actually really awesome and a really comfortable place to watch a game. I will definitely be back there since we vacation to Seattle every couple of years or so.

My neighbor was just in Houston (well, Spring, TX) for 3 weeks for work back in late June. He said they went out to play TopGolf after work and all the Houston and Fort Worth guys were wearing jeans and polos, and he and his Pittsburgh comrades were dying in shorts and a tank top.

    Y'all mothafuckas is crazy.
