08/22 - Whim Wednesday!

lol exactly, but it's very true because he changed his style a lot after guts took off. instead of just naturally unnerving and weird, he tried too hard to be edgy. i still buy them too but definitely don't love them as much as the older stuff. survivor and choke are my hands down favorites. i even loved the movie for choke and hope for (but i can't hold my breath for) a movie for survivor. there was also supposed to be a movie for invisible monsters but i guess it never took off.

 

Okay guys, I'm sorry I've been deceptive too long. It's time to finally come clean.

It's on my to-do list. I wasn't yet so outdoorsy last time I was there

I'm pretty sure hiking is like hard drugs for me. I sent @TurkedOut and @Buntastic some real jacked up texts when I was hopped up on a hiker's high (so, a runners high. whatever. same deal) and half of them were in all caps. I was very aggresively enthusiastic.

Choke one of my favs. Basically everything you mentioned but for some reason rant really stuck with me. I heard James Franco bought the rights to direct a film for it so we'll see if that ever happens. Chuck mentioned hes writing "Fight Club 3" in the podcast, cmon bro... lol

 

Porcupine Mountains are situated in northwestern part of the Upper Peninsula, on Lake Superiors shore. I often tell people you basically head west from Marquette and just keep going until you bump into Superior. Pictured Rocks on the other hand is in the Northeastern part, closer to Munising (and civilization, haha!).

rant would be an awesome movie for sure, and franco would do it justice without a doubt. i think that was the last book i actually truly loved from him and was surprised that it was so good. then came snuff and i was like, oookay, that's enough lol. not even for the shock factor or anything, it just seemed like he was trying to impress a bunch of 8 year old boys with how silly/sexual/horrible he could make it.
