    He wasn't for long luckily, but yeah, it really messed with him. He was taken out of the place and he was basically only ever in a cage and used to rile up fighting dogs. I adopted him from an event where he wasn't actually up for adoption but he was batshit terrified of everyone except me and the vet was happy when I wanted to take him home. Only catch was that I had to fly him back to Greenville with me.

    We hitched a ride on a beaver plane and the rest is history as they say. He was much more calm with me than he had been at the airport event. Poor thing was so terrified and I kept looping back to him and cried cause I couldn't bear to leave him behind. Matt knew there was no way I was going to go home without that puppy and since it was an event to raise money for the humane society, everyone else was happy to help.
