Think I'ma jump on this. I took a free course few months back on another site. Helped alot but I had better luck having code explained to me from a turking perspective on various YT videos.

You can only learn to code by doing it. I have a degree in computer science, but means absolutely nothing unless you put it into practice and just keep trying.

Computer science is also such a wide field too. If you didn't take classes for web dev you'd be completely lost with JS/php/ruby... but then if you don't do enough with more traditional stuff you'd be lost with C++/C#...
