If its on the first page of google results for "vpn" you can bet more likely than not someone is going to use it to scam on MTurk and the likelihood of it causing serious issues with your account increases with the position on google results / popularity.

Roll your own on DO if you need it that badly. Turking outside of the country & using a VPN to get around it is against the TOS and people are being banned for it. Its a huge risk to your account, really don't recommend it, but YMMV

I don't work for MTurk so take this w/ the hugest grain of salt you can, but corporate VPNs are a sigh of relief for me. Just means the user actually has a real job somewhere important enough to have some of its shit together in IT.

Its generally very easy to tell the difference between a crappy service like PIA (or Safari's built in garbage VPN), someone competent enough to roll their own OpenVPN solution, and a corporate/residential network.
