Lol noooo. That’s not how fashion works silly!

You start with haute couture (which can be hit or miss) and sell only to the richest customers- half the reason they want it is because they value something other people can’t have

Then you have your big, super $$ designers who are playing off the haute couture but more wearable and accessible (your jimmy choos- chloe-Charlotte Olympia-louboutins-etc) which then show up on red carpets/fashion shows/ etc and that then trickles down to the still designer, but less wallet murdering fashion brands like Kate Spade, Badgely Mischka, etc

and then, that’s when you see pairs of similar shoes crop up at the 50-70 dollar mark- ModCloth, Macy’s, etc

And thennnnn they end up in target, forever 21, whatever boutique in the mall for half as much and half as meh materials.

And then you start all over again at the top and trickle down again.
