I only ever found some of the babies and immediately went into burn the house down mode. We live in a four-plex and our neighbors were....blech. When they moved, the little critters went looking for a food source. I took care of the problem, but I may never be the same again

My sister got the flies upstairs then brought her guinea pigs downstairs and put them in our closet and then waited for the flies to come down here in the bathroom/closet and then took the guinea pigs back upstairs. Now we're stuck with the flies down here and we're pretty sure they're drain flies. Like the small drain gnats. My parents want to try home remedies before contacting an exterminator and I'm thinking they're breeding in our drains quicker than we can kill them.

I haven't seen a roach in like three weeks since we saw the one, but we have started letting my cats roam around since then too so maybe they're killing them?

 

when i lived in NYC our apt was infested to the point where if you turn your kitchen light on at night it looked like the floor was moving...100s of em dude

Sure, why not. Cousin forgot to actually check the blanket when he was bringing it in off the line so that was an amusing 10 minutes while my aunts freaked out about the anole that got in. Green anoles are cute as heck, by the way.

 

After my daughter spent a whole summer of countless sleepovers at her cousins, they found out they had bed bugs. I went all preventative napalm on my house. Now every single bug bite on anyone sends me into hysterics.

 

I was thinking I want to do the kitchen and bathroom cabinets like these if I can ever buy my own condo. with the little legs under the cabinets. then the cabinets don't sit directly on the floor. seems like this would get rid of a convenient bug hiding spot. do you guys think it would work?
