No worries, I don't really share personal details about myself to begin with so excuse me while I blatantly ignore half of those questions but answer to the parts I feel responsible for (as they relate to MTurk and giving the impression I have unlimited time & make a million Bezos Bucks).

I've said it before, but I'm not immune to the laws of physics so no anytime I'm helping someone or walking a requester through something I do lose income to it (or at least productivity time). MTurk is side income, but as far as it goes my MTurk income has more or less been replaced by the users here so I've mostly stopped turking and turned all of my free time to developing tools / the sites. I don't make as much dollar to dollar as I did just crapping on VRAPI (yet, maybe one day, that'd be sick) but OTOH time I put into the assets here increases their value so a dozen of one 12 of the other. I can also take days to earn more if something amazing does drop but I try to keep my nose to the grindstone for a fair # of hours. Totally honestly, I've kinda sucked at it lately since projects are getting deeper in scope which means less meaningful progress on forward facing parts

I've never really talked about what I work on though.. Far as I can recall I have only posted my weekly earnings report once and that was back in my first month on MTG when my account was brand new. Then I saw Kada, saw what/how he was doing it and ignored everything else. If you want to earn $ on MTurk go archive all his forum posts from MTG/MTC and just peruse. Either way its always been completely pointless for me to discuss my earnings most days because either you can't make what I make or you're already better at me at what I do (aka you're Kada or the few dozen people who are also smart enough not to chit chat in public forums). Tbh I probably have the lowest $-value productivity of any of the heavy MTurk scripters since I waste (its not waste, but it is) a huge swath of my time on the social parts of the whole MTurk shebangalang. The people to look to for top end earnings on MTurk are the folks no one here even know exist lol. Learn javascript, be creative, don't open a fucking mturk forum of all sites.
