Check the air vents on the top of the building. My kitchen sink began backing up into BR1's tub and then the tub fully stopped up. There were leaves in the little pipe on the top of the house. Cleaned them out and presto, fully flowing heaven.

I still rage check out the listing- it's off the market again, but I bet that won't last long or he will just have to drop the price way low because there were a ton of problems that don't really work with the price he wants (and he feels we low balled him as it is lmao). The last straw was honestly that the septic inspection came back as needing work, but then he magically got a second company in days later who said it was perfect. He got very defensive when we talked to the first company and it was just a bit too fishy with that and the weird land lines issue and everything added up. He is (or was) in escrow for a house in Colorado, and our agents were pretty sure he's pushing for an unrealistic price to afford the other house. He got real mad about the bank too and wanted another assesment done lol. The bank told him it wasn't guaranteed it would come back higher , but could in fact come back lower. Dude was not a real peach.

 

This may be a way stupid question, but have you called the landlord?

Alas, we do not. It's just an old and badly taken care of building and our new landlord is pleased to just let it fall apart till she can't get rent anymore it seems. Also raised our laundry price way up...thanks new lady!
