The website is going to try to push a few things:

• Written explanations of WTF is going on in your brain when you click buttons
• Updated info (approval times are $$$ for points)
• Being helpful

Smaller metrics are kept in mind (hourly, etc) but the points system is for the website which needs more in-depth content so its kinda revolving around that. A lot of my points are inflated b/c I get sympathy 'helpfuls' if I export something since I'm admin, you can see TPG vs Badger for a good breakdown of how sheer #s can still trump detailed writing for average users.
