I grew up on LI, that day was hell- we had the coast guard literally blocking us from leaving and patrolling right outside my back yard, my stepdad was stuck near ground zero and had to walk across the brooklyn bridge to get home when he was finally able to gtfo because you couldn't get out of the city otherwise, and I lost some dear people to me who took the train to work and never came home again. We could see the smoke coming from the city and my teacher was heavily pregnant at the time while her husband was a fire fighter who was off in the city. We watched the second tower go down and she collapsed from shock, knowing that her husband was running into that. One of my friend's mothers was on one of the top floors of the first tower. I got into about the first physical confrontation of my life when someone started teasing her kids about how her mom probably jumped and all this stuff meant to taunt her. I pretty much snapped. I rarely talk about it. That day will disturb me forever. We started a charity for my friend's mother and there's a computer lab in her name at the school. That's about all I have to say about that.

Absolutely, I wouldn't use it more than once for a single image. Referencing untagged objects will be helpful. Thanks, @rowan . With these pointers I should be able to keep my in-hit self-deprecaton and "this one was difficult" to minimum...lol

 

@NBadger told me multiple times to replace that with a search bar

I thought surely no one used the home page to search stuff

Also the search thing at the top is the same # of clicks (clicking inside the search box on homepage vs just click the nav search, the modal auto-focuses the input) but alrighty I'll add it to the list lol

Great news: The septic was apparently supposed to be pumped 4 years ago, and the new owners were told upon inspection that it needed immediate work. Guess who decided it would probably be fine?

It's not fine. The septic is backing into all our apartments and the landlord still gives about 0 shits. Yay.
