The landlord actually has to cover it, under both the terms of our lease and california rental laws. We'll be alright. I'm mostly just extremely annoyed and having to argue over the return of my own hose. You can even withold rent for "uninhabitable conditions," as well, and I'd wager that a bathroom full of actual poop in the tub/sink/floor/walls is uninhabitable.

I could probably try and replace the myriad of things now covered in poop with my renters, but I'm not sure it's worth filing a claim/if I'm over my deductible.

I mostly just want a shower.
