I feel like the requesters have gotten very persnikity and reject-happy for the amount of money they are paying.

No.... I never make less that $50 a day in just a couple-few hours in the Reddit claimed slow times....they just do not know how to turk or find turks etc etc. Also mostly just natural born complainers.
