    my landlord installed a 2nd pump in the basement with an alarm so if the 1st pump can't keep up the 2nd will kick in and set off the alarm at which time we should call him and or jump in our boat.

    This crap needs to stop now, our water heater is barely functioning and the furnace is completely shot from the last round of flooding. I can't blame the landlord for wanting to wait till all this flooding is over to replace them but I'm starting to feel that morning chill in the air and would really like heat before the snow starts
