As far as the PCI slot that is being used.. from what I looked at some of them have other things slotted in.. I saw one version of the same computer that had a dual nic in it and other with firewire ports.

Nah from what it sounds like a ton of people picked it up from the /r/buildapcsales thread. It was a pretty sweet deal. From what it sounded like a lot of them planned on swapped the power supply and adding a graphics card for ~$200 in total to turn it into a really good budget gaming computer.
