Tbh, I think a lot of it ties into my manic depression and such. I haven’t had a manic episode in years (tho I obviously still have much less dramatic or destructive versions of the same tendencies at times) but my depression has been a little Grinch. Depression is a liar. Depression tells you that you’re worthless and everyone hates you and your friends secretly hate you and your partner doesn’t love you and you’re ugly etc etc etc. my social anxiety is always far worse when I’m even vaguely depressed because shitty me is just chilling, lying and being shitty.

I’m doing pretty well these days, all things considered, but it’s always a factor that has effected my life in an annoying amount of ways over the years.

We all have our shit, I’m not special here or anything, and I just deal with it as best I can as I’m sure you and everyone else is.
