    Yeah, I really feel lucky/love it. We live directly off an 80 mile section ( this town is a common 0 for people) and the spaceport is off another section so I can easily hop on and off those sections (a few of them have dirtbike trails nearby too, so Matt can just drop me off nearby and meet me 10 miles later). There's a dozen trailheads for the PCT within in an hour of my place, so it's really nice that I can kinda hop around on top of being an easy enough drive to so many other trails and amazing areas. I love it. I used to dislike hiking, but now I can't seem to keep away!

    It was a pretty day, if a bit hotter than I'd like for a 12 mile hike with elevation! It was nice when I was like 6k up, but once I got back down to just the high desert, I wanted to just ice myself down. I scared the crap out of a road runner right at the end, and he bolted off so fast that I was chasing after the little guy waving my phone and yelling, "I'M NOT THE COYOTE! LET ME TAKE A PICTURE OF YOUUUUUU!"

    Every day. Matt objects. I still refuse to stop. His butt is the perfect drum set and it's not my fault he sleeps without pants on.

    I've only ever seen them in California tbh. I'm sure they are sold elsewhere, but I never saw them on the East Coast.
