    I think that was my problem. I was used to the books. the audio books, specifically, read by roy dotrice (sp?)

    Plus, too much sex -- wasn't actually necessary, since the story itself has plenty of content (and it didn't have nearly as much sex, and... there was no nudity in the books that I know of :(
