    You wouldn't get an accurate reading from fraps so you have to manually check. Well I can tell that is 8-15fps by looking but :dunno:

    yea, I get it, a movie/show is simply a different medium to display a story. since it's a different medium and usually a different producer, the story will be different, while still following the same story line.
    I'm ok with some movies or shows being different than their source book (not you, hitchhiker's guide!)

    You can use SVP to attempt to fix the low fps but I doubt that it will be enough to salvage the show.
