09/20 - Something Something Thursday!

Almost the entire state is fine AFAIK.. sadly y'all took all the heat for us lol. Some of the super close border counties got hit kinda hard but everyone I know across the state was mostly fine.

It helps that most of the state is served by Duke who went & did a boatload of prep work even in the upstate so other than a little rain we all got off easy this go-round

...also I dug a moat beforehand so I might just be living in my own little world over here & have no clue lmao

 

Most of the people in my area didn't even lose power. Just had some flooding in the expected flood areas and tons of rain. Got off way lighter than what was expected based on the forecast.

I kept bouncing around places on that website you linked.. a lot of people lost power but it was hilarious to see the duke customers vs everyone else.. I think it was Horry County? some NE county in SC Duke had like a couple hundred folks out and the local power coop was like 95% offline lmao.

 

The update is fine and preventing updates in the current security climate is not a good idea.

 

Search pandas: why tf don't my search pandas ever work? For instance, my c-sat search panda has found 25 but collected nada today.. I'd be better off going back to pandaing individual hits at this point, yeah?

lots of people are also running c-sat search pandas. so it's all just luck really. sometime syou'll catch them sometimes you won't. A lot of people run the individual pandas for the 1.12s though
