Oh, also, I replied to forewarn of y'alls lightning fast completion time potential:
"Success! Thanks for getting back to me; just completed it. I think you may have overestimated how long completion times may be.. I finished in around ten minutes-ish.. And, knowing i'm a slow-ish reader (compared to other mturkers), I just wanted to give you a heads up that completion times are gonna seem quick.

Why would you do that? That just encourages people to cut the pay.

The fact that this can happen despite such a massive disparity in terms of how bad/good these two teams are is one of my favorite things about football

To clarify, you posted a review where it pays $13/hr at 8 minutes, if the hit had taken as long as the requester estimated that means he meant to pay $6/hr, which is well below federal minimum wage everywhere except bad states like Georgia. By going "hey, your time estimate is off" that means he's going to look at the completion time then halve the pay to compensate so that the hit now pays $6/hr and is no longer worth doing.

 

Wharton has been sitting at 15-20/hr for years. A random email really doesn't matter.

 

So with the spread I am only down by 44...there is still a chance.

 

Yeah, well the Wharton guys also aren't assholes most of the time at least. I wouldn't really expect a new requester who isn't familiar with the platform to not think $6/hr is fine.
