09/23 - Springy Sunday!

I emailed Rose yesterday to inquire about an update on the work which was supposed to be posted this week. Radio silence thus far, which is a bit worrisome. If you missed her last email on the 17th, here is a recap.

I have updated your tallies for the first batch of rewrites. It appears that there is an increase in the number of mistakes - the most common is parts of the rewritten recommendation still being in the first person past tense.


So, I would need to put the second batch that was planned for later today and the two batches planned for tomorrow, on hold, until I can update the tallies for the other 4 batches. Sorry about that.


I think, I will be able to resume the study on Wednesday. If not, the next batch will be on Saturday. I'll email before I release them.

She has update some of our quals, I can see that mine was updated after the batch spoken of. I also have 12 hits pending since before that as well. So no idea at this point what the going forward is going to look like.

 

Unless you have no rejections or going ham on an iffy batch, then rejections are just part of the game.

I have 3, and only 10.5k hits, so my safety zone is not what I would like it to be. 2 of mine are from rather questionable requesters. Both of whom were brand new, a third from a new requester that rejected a hit in a qual batch. So from experience I stay away from new requesters. I agree, I may make more if I did not practice this, but I can't afford the new requester that decides to reject a batch.

There's 3 forced 2 minute breaks, I imagine I'm in the minority in considering this a con, but with these kind of experiments I'd rather just get in a groove and do it all the way through personally

I'm about do for a batch reject. I've gone ham on so many strange and new requesters.

 

this is why you occasionally go ham on a nice safe penny batch, not the 30 ish dollars you will make if you manage to cap for the day on it but the padding so you can make money on a more lucrative but questionable batch another day

 

Yeah, if it's a big batch. But you could get ~105 rejections and still be at 99%....i think my math is right...
