I'll note that I disagree with you, and I find most your posts without much merit, but not enough to filter with ignore. Maybe they've gotten better. Your post on the pay was well-written though. I get what you're saying. If it were only taking a few seconds to come up with stuff because the scene was interesting, they'd be fire even with less pay.

But things don't work that way. What actually happens is a requester who earns goodwill by being a decent member of the community woos you in so you do crappy paying hits, feeling as though you're contributing, and hey, they're OK filler, and then you find out the snarky feedback came from other turkers. Then you start to think maybe you don't need to work on that filler at all.

My attitude sways from "At least he'll appreciate the hard work, even though this makes my skull hurt and the pay's mediocre" to "How lovely, another venue for my peers to shit on me."

Disclaimer: Yes, I'm being whiny. No, it's not a reflection on the HITs. Yes, I know I shouldn't do them if I don't want to, and I've stopped, for good, etc etc. Just whinging.
