I have some concerns about @SAJ tonight

 

I'm fine ...I only went outside in underwear 3 times today...things are improving.

 

I'm pretty sure this is indeed correct but its okayish for learning how to transcribe properly so you can move on to better platforms (or get masters & get actual decent transcription work from reqs who don't know MTurk is not meant for skilled labor lol)

I mean people grind out a living on Crowdsurf so it must be possible but the only "pro" trancriptionist I know on MTurk is @jessers and she just works too hard.

/r/workonline has threads about transcription sites occasionally, might be worth a search there

They weren't paying attention in third grade English.

 

I used to hate having to go talk to IT at this one place I worked. They were usually condescending jackasses about everything.

So anyway, I had to go downstairs and talk to one of them one day. The head jackass in charge. He's on the phone, but I notice that he has a life size cardboard cutout of Princess Leia in his office.

So, I asked the obvious question. "Um, can I borrow this?"

And he looks at me like I'm the weird one. "Oh, I'm sorry Mr. I have a life size cardboard cutout of Princess Leia in my office! Did I cross some sort of line?"

 

I was just thinking about this but in a different way, more like: "I need to have capital letters at the beginning of every sentence or I won't get above a C huh?! I'll show that Grinch!"
