    Does anyone here do freelance writing? And/or writing tasks on mTurk? I'm curious what people charge per word (and if words like a / the / etc are charged?). I saw someone recommend 1c/word on the mturk subreddit, but cursory google results say 10-15c/word.

    And is per-word actually the standard way to pay?

    per word is generally the standard rate of pay. Nowadays 10c a word is super requester rate but 1c a word is the norm
